Iyengar yoga is named for the yoga master B.K.S Iyengar.
The first step in learning this art is learning the asanas (yoga poses). The approach is step-by-step and adapted to individual needs, making this style accessible to one and all. Poses can be made as easy or as difficult as required.
Improved balance, stamina, strength and flexibility both in body and mind are experienced with practice. Students also benefit by the improvement in self awareness and the relief of quietening the mind.
